How to Create MY SQL Database in Linux Accounts?

SQL stands for Structured Query Language. SQL is an international standard in querying and retrieving information from databases. MySQL is essentially an SQL server , it responds to requests for information that are written in SQL. You can communicate with MySQL using a wide variety of programming languages (PHP being one of the most common). MySQL is Open Source software and free for use.
You can allow external web servers to access your MySQL databases by adding their domain name to the list of hosts that are able to access databases on your web site. local host stands for the server that your site is currently on. The following procedure guides you to create a mysql database, create the user and also to bind the user to that database.

[1] Access your control panel at http://www.yourdomain.com.com/cpanel [ Example : www.mminfosolutions.com/cpanel ]

Notes
You must have port 2082 access enabled in your internet connection to access this control panel. Usually it is enabled, but if you are in a network and if your are not able to access this, please contact your network admin and enable this port.
If you access as www.yourdomain.com/cpanel it will take minimum upto 48 hrs to reflect from the time registration of the domain to access your cPanel.

[2] Supply the user name & password.

[3] To access the MySQL Account Maintenance Menu, click on the icon MySQL Databases on the main screen of your cPanel interface.

[4] Enter the name of the new database in the field against Db.

[5] Click on Add Db to create the database.

Notes
You need to create at least one database user and grant that user permission to use the new database.

Creating Database User :

[6] Enter the name of the database user in the field against Username.

[7] Enter the password for the new user in the field against Password.

[8] Click on Add User to create the new user.

Notes
Creating a user does not automatically allow the user to use a database.
You need to grant that user permission to the specific database first.
The following steps will help you to grant permission for the user to use the database.

[9] Select the user you wish to grant permissions for from the drop box next to User.

Notes
The user will appear as your cpanel username user.

[10] Select the database you wish to give that user access to from the drop box next to Db.

Notes
The database will appear as your cpanel username_databasename.

[11] Select ALL privileges (abilities to modify the database) for the user by checking the box next to the privilege's name.

[12] Click on Add User to Db for permitting the user to access the database.
